The Cactus, or referred to plurally as Cacti, are unusual plants. They are very distinctive in shape and are well adapted to hot and dry environments. Some are known to grow in tropical environments as well. Cacti are well adapted to conserve water, their stems becoming succulent over time. Cacti are well known for their spines, which are their equivalent of leaves.
