Description
The small perennial flower Dan Dao Zi Cai
(Mazus stachydifolius) is native to East Asia;
primarily China and Korea. This flower is part of the
Scrophulariaceae family of plants.
Dan Dao Zi Cai can will be found growing
around the edges of forests or trail paths where the
ground is a little more moist. In prospers in these
moist conditions, where the elevation is below 1500
metres, and where there is sun. The Dan Dao Zi Cai plant
does not grow well in shaded areas.
This low growing flower does not normally
reach heights above 40 cm. The reproductive organs of
the flowers themselves are hermaphrodite, meaning they
have both male and female organs.
