Vegetables are eaten by all cultures
around the globe. The term 'vegetable' is not actually
a classification of plant, but rather a culinary term
used to describe many edible plants, and their individual
parts. Most vegetable plants actually fall under the
classification of 'flowering plant', or angiosperms.
